About Us
Broadway Masala opened in historic downtown of Redwood City in October 2013 and was highly popular. Just before Christmas 2015 a devastating fire put a brief pause in our journey.
We promised to be back "Bigger and Better".
Now, we invite you back to join our journey and indulge in our constantly evolving Indian cuisine along with our craft cocktails and full bar.

ANUPAM BHATIA
For some, hospitality is just a profession. For Anupam, it is his calling. Passionate about food and hospitality from a young age, Anupam followed his heart, pursuing a successful career in the profession.
His journey began at Taj Ambassador New Delhi, where he honed his skills of operating successful restaurant operations. He was an integral part of the team that gave the iconic hotel a contemporary makeover.
With a dream to showcase the diversity of Indian cuisine globally, Anupam moved to the US in 2002. His culinary knowledge shaped the Indian restaurant scene in Denver, Anchorage. He later moved to California, where he contributed to the success of the leading Indian restaurant chain Amber India, working as Restaurant General Manager till 2013.
After 27 years of experience in the restaurant business, he took a leap of faith and opened a place of his own – Broadway Masala. A restaurant that has gained popularity for its gourmet Indian cuisine inspired by seasonal ingredients and local produce. The restaurant has been Michelin recommended in 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2019.
Next step in 2014 setting and starting the largest Indian Spice Affair on the prestigious restaurant row of Beverly Hills, CA.
In 2020 Anupam started Aurum, Michelin guide 2021 recommended restaurant in Los Altos, CA downtown.

When you taste Chef Dev Raj’s food you know it has come from an artist whose experience and love for Indian food is recognized worldwide. Chef Dev Raj’s journey began with learning his cooking from his grandmother and mother in famous town of Dharmshala where he learned the essence of diversity of Indian cuisine.
Dharamshala is the hometown of the Dalai Lama and people from all over the world come and visit him. From authentic Indian to Tibetan infused Indo Chinese cuisine Chef Dev Raj Has learned from the homemakers.
He moved to Delhi to learn the famous Delhi street food and Mughlai cuisine in Delhi and ran multiple festivals in China, South Korea and famous hotels in New Delhi.
